Trade Adviser - Consulate General of Switzerland

- Carry out market research and partner search projects for Swiss companies interested in accessing and developing the local market.

- Organize marketing and trade promotion events and attend & report on trade exhibitions.

- Follow up on new trade & business legislation and its possible impact on commercial relations with Switzerland.

- Maintain info & contact with Swiss Firms and representations in the UAE.



For the above you will report to a senior member of the team and work closely with other trade offices in the region as well as the main office in Europe. To accomplish these tasks you will need to;



- Develop and manage a wide network of local experts and personally be involved in gathering the needed market intelligence.

- Develop a network in industry, trade, chambers, government, trade associations, foreign business councils and preferably media.

- Travel on a regular basis within the UAE as well as Switzerland at least once a year.
