Database Administrator - Al Yasra Fashion

- Perform day-to-day Database Administration for MSSQL Server 2005/2008/2012.

- Troubleshooting and resolving database problems.

- Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

- Perform backups, restores and recovery models.

- Configuration of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for MSSQL Server.

- Implement operational automation using SSIS, TSQL and OS level scripts

- Implement and maintain database security

- Participate in 24x7 on-call responsibilities and off hours maintenance windows to accomplish upgrades, problem resolution or other maintenance window activities

- Ability to communicate best practices in the industry and apply a practical implementation to the database server environments

- Keeps work area neat, clean and hazard free.

- Must work in other areas, as needed for cross training and/or workload.

- Other related duties as assigned.
