Treasury Officer/Senior Officer - A Leading Financial Co.

• Treasury:

 Ensures timely and accurate reconciliations with all banks for all Treasury related bank instructions

 Follows up on the procedures of obtaining new lines of financing facilities from the banks

 Coordinates banking relationships, duly arranging for opening and maintaining the required number of bank accounts and managing financing facilities with banks as necessitated by the funding plan

 Manages the daily operations to ensure minimizing financing cost

 Supports all company departments with any required information

 Reviews all bank transactions to ensure implementation of company policy

 Handles bank accounts’ opening and closing procedures

 Reviews all bank interest and charges calculation to ensure consistency with the agreed upon terms

 Prepares daily banks position report to provide management with comparison figures for decision taking

 Prepares necessary documents related to bank facilities renewal

 Executes all approved payments

 Follows-up on all collections from lessees

 Handles all types of Trade Finance transactions (LCs or LGs) with all banks. Serves as the primary point of contact regarding all trade finance transactions under his/her supervision. Supervises transactions for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and proper record keeping, and follows up with the concerned parties on any potential problems or comments

 Communicates and follows up on any inconsistencies or transaction issues with the banks

 Works closely with internal clients to ensure the smooth execution (including exchange of information and flow of documents) of treasury processes necessitated by their activities

 Ensures proper record keeping and timely and accurate data entry in the system

• General:

− Ensures timely and accurate reporting on his/her activities to superiors

− Attends team meetings and shares best practices with colleagues

− Ensures proper self time-management

− Assists superiors in the recruiting and training of more junior Treasury Officers

 Demonstrates maturity and capability to assume increased supervisory and administration responsibilities in preparation for becoming an Assistant Manager - Treasury

 Executes proper utilization of IT systems at all times including a timely and error free input of data, report generation, etc.
