Customer Installation Engineer/Technician

• Ensures that the P&ID and site installation norms are properly followed. The final installation has to be in compliance to the company rules.

• Capable of full-welding mechanical work cryogenic line and perform fabrication full weld logic boiler, pressure vessel and 100% X-ray test using E6010 and E7018;

• Performed mechanical repairs and welding tasks in cryogenic / medical / inflammable gas fields and water treatment plants to ensure water tight integrity through hydro-testing.

• Repairing and performing welding operations on any equipment, creating and updating logs of work accomplished, performing welding work required during the construction and repair of city buildings, straightening and rebuilding heavy duty equipment, welding fire trucks, water tanks, stainless steel, and brass fittings;

• Capable of Installing Steel Trusses, I-Beam, Elevated Tank, Girder, column and joint-column;

• Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service.

• During work execution ensure that the HSE and quality parameters are adhered to.

• Conducts periodic visits to the customer installation and carries out the preventive checks and as per planning performs preventive maintenance.

• Where contractors are involved, he is responsible to make sure that the jobs are carried out in accordance to the company standards in conformity to the guidelines P&ID and site installations.

• Participates in performing the costing of the various proposals that are done for the customer installation.

• Closely monitors the inventory of spares and related items in stores.

• Conducts hands on practical training with the customer to ensure correct operation in liaison with the Customer Installation Manager.

• Caries out the preventive maintenance of the cryogenic elements of the tankers.

• Other responsibilities assigned by the management from time to time.
