Buyer Manager and Commercial Coordinator (Retail Fashion) - Al Siddiqi Holding

SENIOR COMMERCIAL COORDINATOR:



The successful candidate will have 2 to 3 years of experience in retail industry, fashion exposure is a plus



Responsibility: Compare Budget plans Vs. purchases and Maintain update files

• Verify proper implementation of the discounts and “changes in price” in the system and on retail floor

• Follow up on goods receiving schedule Vs. plan and maintain updated file

• Inspects process of product distribution and product flow to stores for all brands and locations

• Ensures accurate implementation of Commercial Operational Calendar

• Log, update and mark Milestones and business KPIs along business life cycle

• Coordinating with suppliers operational and logistical issues:

• Sales reports and Budgets

• VM and Marketing material and New shop opening projects

• Coordinating with Buyers by book buying trips and needed flight and hotels to optimize on traveling expenses

• Maintain brand log file as to negotiated payment, delivery, business plan terms and conditions.

• Maintain healthy and collaborative relationship with different functions and support units (stores, logistics, warehouse, finance, IT, procurement and others)

• Update Imports tracking report as well as information related to shipping details, suppliers, service providers, deliveries, etc…

• Coordinating with Mall operators for special events and promotions

• Proper execution of agreements







BUYING MANAGER

The successful candidate will have 4 to 8 years of experience in buying/ brand management in fashion with excellent reporting, organization, networking, analysis skills.



Responsibilities: reporting to the commercial manager and responsible of the below

• Buying budget: build a by brand buying budget for every season and for every store, based on historical data, growth potential, and brand performance with respect to sell thru, growth estimation, and approved business plans.

• Prepares and presents weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual targets revues and updates.

• Market and competition analysis

• Matching industry trends with market specifics

• Developing detailed assortment plan.

• Attending trips and appointments with suppliers.

• Buying and selecting assortments during fairs or on appointment: placing orders based on presented and approved budgets.

• Searching for new brands: build a coherent and compelling portfolio of brands.

• Negotiate and communicate with suppliers.

• Presenting new collection to sales staff.

• Follow up on sales: keep close follow up on sales performance at micro as well as macro level.

• Price management.

• Distribution to stores: maintain regular follow up on distribution activity.

• Stock management and optimization.

• Actively involved in marketing, visual merchandising, display scheme & image maintenance
