Risk and Compliance Manager

Role Obiectives:-

To manage compliance of company-wide business operations with internal policies and applicable external regulations.



Duties and Responsibilities:-

• Develop plan to review various departments and functions of the Company with regard to compliance.

• Perform compliance review as per the compliance review plan.

• Prepare and submit compliance review report to the auditee and senior management.

• Review extemal reporting performed by the concemed departments.

• Report on non-compliance with internal policies and procedures.

• Review all transactions to check compliance with external laws and regulations of Central Bank of Kuwait, Ministries, Kuwait Stock Exchange, CMA, etc incl. the regional statutory authorities.

• Co-ordinate the necessary pape1work for discussion and approval, concemmg compliance issues between business units and the Company management

• Regularly Inform Intemal Auditing Department of Compliance Review Findings.

• Provide regulatory updates for management and create a culture of compliance vvithin the organization.



Duties and Responsibilities:

• The role of RM will be to enable the chairman and BOD to fulfil their responsibilities from the Risk Management perspective effectiveness of provides periodic assessments on the Risk Management.

• The RM will communicate to the Risk Management Committee the status of Enterprise

Risk Management within the company.

• The RM will continuously review the company's Risk limits in light of changing business and market conditions.

• The RM will ensure that the consolidated risk levels are within appropriate tolerance levels for the company

• The RM will review and monitor risk management plans, activities, results, and exposure reports to ensure compliance with corporate risk limits and tolerances as defined in Ale's ERM Policy and Procedures document. This includes:



i. Ensuring that appropriate risk identification and monitoring processes are in place for the major exposures of each business unit;

ii. Ensuring that measurement systems adequately reflect their exposure; and

iii. Ensuring reporting systems adequately communicate relevant information regarding level and sources of risk.

• The RM will ensure proper risk management ownership by the business units and effective oversight by the corporate level executives.
