VP Sales Middle East - Smartmatic

The VP Regional Sales Middle East reports into the President EMEA and will be responsible for sales and the commercial development of the organization in the Middle East. The executive will develop and execute a strategic plan for the region.



Major Responsibilities



Set up and improve the quality of our sales channel

Make Smartmatic a known/well-recognized brand in the territory

Gain prospects' and clients' trust and confidence

Identify potential leads in their territory

Obtain information to guide Smartmatic's capture process and price strategy

Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations

Establish long-term relationships with clients

Serve as communication channel and liaison between the client and company

Improve customer-focused sales processes

Conduct initial screening and establish contact with potential partners and service providers in their assigned territory

Improve the overall quality of the offering processes in terms of content, optimal alignment with customer needs, optimal alignment between disciplines within Smartmatic and timing

Develop and foster effective collaboration between Smartmatic BU’s and departments to ensure an integrated customer approach

Ensure strong team spirit and productivity in the offering processes

Coordinate and Execute PR efforts with agencies, press and media and internally with corporate communication department and the rest of the account team

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; maintaining personal networks

Maintain and expand relationship with international organizations, local correspondents that are involved with government’s activities

Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
