Well Operations Engineer - 12 months - Algeria
Well Operation Engineer required for a 12 month day rate contract role based in Algeria on a 28/28 rotation paying between $1000 - $1200 per day.
This international government owned Oil and Gas organisation specialise not only in Oil and Gas but also in new and renewable energy.
The organisation have won a new project and subsequently require a field based Well Operation Engineer.
Requirements:
- Diploma with 10 years of experience in well intervention activities. Experience with cycle time reduction programs is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic field operations, including separation equipment, water-handling facilities, flow lines, well testing, data gathering.
- Has skills in using Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must demonstrate high performance in HSE and be HSE conscious. Experience in working with safety management system like permit to work, etc.
- Ability to work with and supervise a multinational work force.
- Must demonstrate ability to work rotational assignment (28/28) in a hot climate.
- Supervision experience
- Ability to work in remote environment with multicultural workforce
- Well control certification
- Academic qualification to degree or equivalent
- Good computer skills
