Product Specialist

- Dealing with individual customer (office walk-in)

- Preparing and submitting Tender Offer to Hospitals, clinics and private business offices.

- Communicating with suppliers outside Qatar regarding new price and freight cost of items needed by customers.

- Communicating with purchasing department regarding status of shipment arrival of ordered items.

- Communicating with accounting department regarding payment made by pharmacies and customer credit extension and credit increase.

- Preparing purchase order and delivery note of ordered items.

- Directly dealing with main markets as main point of sales (Pharmacy, Clinic. Hospitals & Supermarkets).

- Doing direct selling to individuals outside the office.

- Dealing with whole seller for items being bought in volume.

- Doing item delivery for urgent orders (individual & pharmacies ).

- Doing market survey of competitor items that are are already existing in the market.

- Doing payment collection to Pharmacy & Supermarkets

- Doing Doctor visits for item introduction and rescription follow up

- Doing direct supervision to merchandiser of checking quantity of items on stock and to inform me of items that has near expiry date

- Communicating regularly with store keeper for inventory quantity update and expiry dates of items being marketed

- Monitoring driver in-charge of item delivery of its status

- Analyze sales movement, what should be made to increase sales output and to maintain the sales in order to meet sales target at the end of the year

- Analyze how to approach the market even in hard times

- Analyze how to increase existing sales

- Using item leaflets in Arabic and in English translation to further reach more market here in Qatar

- Make regular advertisement to create public awareness for the item/s that are being marketed

- Having an effective promoter (Lady) who is really experienced in promotion, knows how to push a customer to buy the items she is promoting

- Have a budget for free small item for give away having the name of the items being promoted printed noticeably

- Should see to it that regular visits are done to different pharmacies and check the actual stock that each pharmacy has and to know why the items are not moving or why the sales of the items are strongly moving

- To ensure that items ordered are delivered on time

- Should check regularly and maintain a safe buffer stock of the items marketed so not to run out of stock of items

- Check once a month all items that are being marketed in the warehouse for safe stocking / storage

- Should always know your competitor in the market and know its strong and weak points so that when you meet your market (pharmacy, hospital, clinic & individual) you know how to approach them and sell to them effectively the items of the company which you are marketing
