GMEA Business Development Manager - Sensitive Products - Tangent International

Tangent International is seeking an experienced Sales Proffesional to join our client a leading global provider of PET solutions for liquid packaging based in the UAE.



Main Purpose

To drive “Our Client” sales in sensitive products segment (JNSDIT and LDP, ie Juices, Nectars, Soft drinks, Isotonics, Teas & Liquid Dairy Products) with new and existing customers.

Develop and implement zone sales and technical strategy (e.g. focus on Ambient, through Aseptic, Hotfill and Ultra Clean technologies) based on identifying our strengths and weaknesses (portfolio, lead time, customer proximity…), both short and long term.

Develop internal knowledge of the competition, their offering, their strategy in sales and cascade to the Sales Team.

To develop “better selling” by developing the literature to suit the zone specific requirements. Deliver technical support to the sales team delivering value propositions for our customers, which maintains “OUR CLIENT” as the LEADER in PET in packaging solutions for SENSITIVE PRODUCTS, based on a strong End Product expertise.

Develop and help implement after sales strategies with the customer service team.

Supporting the sales team in all aspects of customer proximity, notably on prospecting new customers, pre contracting sales activities.

with a strong collaboration with central expertise - notably Product management

To understand and anticipate the needs of the Sensitive Market in Greater Middle East & Africa,

Support the Zone VP in building / adjusting the segment strategy, gathering innovation requirements needed to build the Product Development Plan



Important Functions



Ensure quality contact between our customers (the market) & our product expertise (“Our Client” Industrial Operations) on the relevant products of the sensitive machinery portfolio :

To build a strong network within “Our Client” Industrial Operations, especially with our Product Management team and our Product Care team. Additionally to devise and improve sales tools, products evolution, services products.

To set up a professional relationship with the main customers, by promoting “OUR CLIENT” solutions at all levels of decisions (top management, technical departments, packaging teams.)

To technically support the Regional Commercial Directors, AM (account managers) and agents in all Sensitive Products projects, with a strong ability to act transversally to support sales development.

Relationships

The position reports to the Zone Marketing & Business Development Director, but the position has transversal contacts throughout the “Our Client” World and therefore the ability to quickly build relationships is required.
