- An esthetician provides beauty services such as applying makeup, performing in hair removal, nail care and providing skin and grooming services.

- Ensuring a warm friendly welcome to costumers at all times.

- Listening, understanding and repeating the wishes to clients and addressing their requirements

- Advising clients on nail care, beauty care, skin care and body care, recommending products and providing technical assistance

- Attending cosmetics training and seminars in order to keep up to date with emerging techniques and products

- Taking care of the day-to-day activities involved in running the salon.

- Keeping inventories of shop equipment and supplies

- Ordering and receiving supplies

- Keeping client records and scheduling appointments

- Performing reception duties including answering phone calls and enquiry emails

- Selling retail products and write up client record cards

- Deal with visitor’s complaint and enquiries in an effective manner.

- Performing duties such as Manicure, Pedicure, Hair removal, waxing, threading

- Providing skin and beauty care, make up and facial treatment.

- Ensure that a cleanup is done immediately after each client and are constantly disinfecting reusable tools, ensuring a clean workspace.

- Beauticians are required to maintain a clean and well-lighted environment.

- Cleaning the saloon, equipment and work areas.

- Operating a computer and cash register.
