Sport Medicine Specialist - Emirates Advanced Investment Group

• Oversee and manage the SEM medical personnel that report directly to him/her

• Assist the SEM Consultant (or Head of SEM) in the implementation of best practice protocols and procedures that will be used throughout the satellite SEM Units

• Perform pre-exercise musculoskeletal evaluation, injury assessment and injury treatment

• Diagnose, treat and prevent musculoskeletal injuries and health issues that occur during sports and physical training

• Provide both long-term and immediate supervision for the remedial of individuals

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records

• Undertake weekly on-site review and clinics of the Satellite Health and Sport Medicine Centers

• Ensure excellent collaboration and follow-up procedures with the regional military and non-military medical centers and hospitals.

• Collaborate with the HSMC Physical Performance Section in particular, and other members of the HSMC, on relevant projects

• Review literature on a regular basis to ensure that policies and guidelines are aligned with current best practice and are evidence based
