Accounting Analyst - Eaton

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Under supervision of the Senior Financial Manager generate monthly financial statements by maintaining general ledger to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

•Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close of financial statement of the company.

•Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.

•Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions.

•Process and monitored monthly payroll for management and workshop staff

•Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.

•Supports budget and forecasting activities.

•Collaborates with the Plant Controller to support overall department goals and objectives.

•Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.

•Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.

•Assist to develop, maintain and control annual financial budgets and periodic cash forecasting.

•Review and analysis of cost sheet, variance analysis & feedback to concerns.

•Reported on account receivables and account payable balance to ensure prompt attention to potential problem areas

•Monitor project billing for the high end customers and ensured compliance to the system disciplines

•Responsible for Planning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.

•Analyzing data collected and recording results

•Analyzing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost

•Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs

•Recording cost information for use in controlling expenditures
