Reporting directly to the General Counsel, the Associate General Counsel will provide general corporate and commercial, and antitrust legal advice as well as provide general legal support to the global QPI business and ensure that the legal risk exposures in all contracts, agreements and documents related to QPI is identified and minimized or otherwise mitigated as far as reasonably practicable in line with business drivers and priorities in coordination with the business units. This position is responsible for the negotiation, review & drafting of a broad range of commercial and transaction agreements, including Sale and Purchase Agreements (assets and shares) and Shareholder / JV Agreements and to provide input into legal aspects of board and JV governance and counsel on stewardship of JV subsidiaries. The position is also expected to drive process improvements and deliver legal training. The position will support the General Counsel. The Associate General Counsel will engage, direct and manage outside counsel and temporary resources as required.
