Role & Objectives
The Diesel Mechanic’s role is to complete servicing, repair and warranty work on all MTU engine variants for Marine, Power Generation and Oil & Gas applications, in order to keep our Customers’ engines and equipment running trouble-free.
Responsibilities
The Diesel Technician’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Hands-on service work (repairs, warranty jobs & overhauls) in the Workshop and the field.
Completing all service, repair and warranty jobs in accordance with the MTU guidelines.
Performing all appropriate pre-delivery tests and inspections to ensure customer satisfaction.
Ensuring job reports are completed with accurate records of tasks completed.
Requesting support from Aftersales Manager as required.
Complying with all Company regulations and Ethics, local and international laws.
