Brand Manager - Travel Retail - Manpower Middle East

Our client, is one of the leading and renowned international distributors of fragrances and cosmetics in the Middle East region is currently seeking to recruit a Brand Manager- Travel Retail. You will be directly reporting to the Travel Retail Division Manager Job Purpose: At the direction of Travel Retail Division Manager, responsible for supporting, launching, developing and expanding a portfolio of brands. Responsible for maximizing sales potential to market and meeting company targets for sustainable growth, profitability and cash flow by implementing sales strategies and initiatives. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: 1. Organisational Targets, Business Forecasting and Results • Work with sales, demand planning, and contract vendors to generate accurate volume forecasts. • Deliver results for the brand level P&L focusing on net sales and brand contribution. • Manage aspects of sales function, from support of devising and implementing sales strategies, developing structure and developing structure and supervising field sales personnel, managing promotional activities to achieve brand objectives • Establish right sales structure and capabilities to maximize Brands sales potential and ultimately achieving the Brand's vision and goals • Ensure effective budgetary control over sales expenses returns and promotional expenses • Help to achieve sell-in and sell through sales targets, business planning accuracy and inventory targets 2. Stock Management • Consistently maintain sufficient supply coverage : checking stocks on a monthly basis and ordering on a monthly basis • Inventory Turn ratio remains lower than a specific number of months • Arriving at the end of the year with a specific day supply. • Processing of orders to be done in less than a specific number of days within the department and making sure that the DFS receives the good within a specific amount of days. • Making sure that delisted products are depleted and not in the stock. 3. Distribution Network • Ensure a high level of visibility inside sales outlets for each of the managed brands. o Visibility (Qualitative assessment) o Objective for New Doors o Objective for New Countries • Introduction of new products 4. Market Analysis • Provide consumption based data analysis for the brand. Provide insight and support to the enterprise to better understand market trends and dynamics. Also, identify opportunities in markets where there are unmet needs. • Perform a retail audit on monthly basis. • Monitor level of distribution per market Vs Total market (DN). • Gather market facts and new developments including new malls/shops openings, change of regulations and key news to communicate. • Obtain and communicate ranking data from key retailers to principals. • Monthly reporting on brands launches, animations, promotions. • Maintain a tracksheet of Year End fragrance and cosmetics figures. • Monitor retail price database of supplier’s vs key competitors. • Analyse competitor activity 5. Marketing Plan and Implementation • Propose marketing plans/animations adapted to the region. • Check good implementation of merchandising guidelines and proposes possible improvement. • Monitor shelf space and visibility of brands in selected main retail doors. • Local PR follow up, including PR insertions. • Prepare presentations and meet retailers whenever necessary, particularly for 1st and 2nd semester strategy meetings • Liaise smoothly between retailers, principals, and local distributors for implementation of specific animations, promotions, Star brand programme. • Ensure proper calendar implementation of a regional marketing plan for each of the managed brands, according to the objectives of a pre-submitted and approved marketing and promotions plan.
