Job Summary:
Responsible for re organising, creating system and leading the sales and marketing department in order to achieve business growth by defining and reaching target market, creating awareness, negotiation, as well as customer relationship management.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Establish system for re structure the sales and marketing department.
2. Develop and implement S&M Department SOP.
3. Develop and facilitate annual category strategic plan in support of the division marketing strategy.
4. Define an appropriate organization structure for the department so that resources are optimally utilized and communication can take place in an efficient manner.
5. Lead the setting of high level sales targets and cascading to all management and supervisory levels in the department ensuring alignment.
6. Develop S&M Department strategy to ensure it is aligned with and contributes to the work of other functions.
7. Develop a sales strategy that is aligned with Company's business goal and clearly defines resources required to execute the plan..
8. Lead the process of identifying potential new business opportunities. personally working with the sales team to build relationship.
9. To establish sales targets with staff and report weekly/ monthly on any negative variances compared to actual achieved sales, with recommendations for remedial action.
10. Development and implementation of the Brand Strategy.
11. Developing the marketing strategy for new and existing products.
12. Develop the Sales Kit, Social Media, website utilization, e-campaigns.
13. Improve products, provide feedback and build a strong customer data base.
14. Provide the S&M team with required tools, resources and information to execute their roles to a high standard.
15. Overseeing implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
16. Guiding the day to day activities of the sales and marketing team.
17. Ensuring that the S&M objectives are implemented by the sales and marketing team.
18. Support the development and implementation of new sales processes to maximize team performance and results.
19. Monitoring competitor activity.
20. Lead and manage the design and development of advertising plans in order to create awareness and effectively communicate the relevant properties to consumers.
21. Improves product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities; improving product packaging; coordinating new product development.
