Web Developer - College of the North Atlantic - Qatar

Under the supervision of the Manager Software Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing database and server administration in an Oracle environment as well as administering Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) Systems. This includes but is not limited to:



Duties & responsibilities:



 Responsible for infrastructure (hardware, OS, etc.)

 Manage CAFM applications like FAMIS, Linel Security Systems Software, Winmag for Fire Safety, Rainbird for Irrigation, Laserfich for Document Management, Tac Vista for Building Management Systems etc.

 Application security and permissions administration

 Initial support; train and assign new application experts

 Meet with business owners on "how-to" accomplish vision and tasks

 Setup new site, new users and load control data

 Deep knowledge and understanding of:

1. Windows 2008 Operating System

2. Oracle 11G server administration

3. Oracle SQL

4. Network topologies

5. Security principles

 Create and monitor FAMIS interfaces to/from PeopleSoft and other Facilities related software

 Lead required upgrades of FAMIS and other CAFM applications

 Create/adjust reports using FAMIS publisher (must have Oracle SQL experience)

 Manage use of FAMIS mobile applications and related wireless devices
