PRE-CONTRACTING LAYOUT DESIGNER - Tangent International

Tangent International is seeking an experienced PRE-CONTRACTING LAYOUT DESIGNER for our client a leading global provider of PET solutions for liquid packaging based in Dubai.

Main Purpose

The position will be integrated in the Pre-Contracting Layout Team, part of the Engineering Team of Market Operations (GME&A / ECA), in charge of the following Engineering activities for Complete Lines and/or Line Refurbishments:

Line layout engineering & CAD drawing, in accordance with customer specifications and available spaces;

Line dimensioning and accumulation calculation;

Choose appropriate conveying system to meet project specifications;

Design and economical quotation of a complete system of conveyors based on the drawn layout;

Consult “Our Client” and 3rd party equipment manufacturer in order to gather the required technical information of the equipment included in the layout;

Onsite measurements and attendance of meetings with the Customer (accompanied by the Complete Line Project manager);

Participate to kick-off meeting at the launch of projects

Responsible of technical data and drawings accuracy;

Responsible to ensure procedures compliance

Responsible to reach the deadlines set by the Project Manager

Ensure confidentiality of the project is respected

There will also be extensive contact with the Marketing Manager and the Technical Assistance Department. Monitoring invoice payment and collection from clients and producing reports will be required where necessary.

SCOPE:
